Description

Xicata 48 is an ultra-micro complete suspended fluorescent profile system which configures in architectural straight-line or shaped-closed-loop arrays, all with bespoke or standard corners and any angular shapes. Available in direct, indirect or with combined direct/indirect sections. Optical control is flexible with hi-tech diffusers in advanced prismatic technology, opal or frosted acrylic. Alternative parabolic louvres or fine-line lamella blades are available as standard. Officio 48 is available in single or twin lamp arrays or even 3 lamp tilting arrays for full flexibility - see “Rotator” modules - page 67. The profile is configured as single or joined sections to configure many layouts and hi-tech luminaire  possibilities - the system is only contained by the imagination.

Construction & Finishes

The “Xicata System” is versatile in build, unlike many profile systems, its modularity is boundless. Study the pages herein and a glimpse of what can be created. Discuss your project needs with our technical sales teams to create your own dimensions, angles & ‘tailored’ layouts. All “Officio” designs & orders [no matter how complex] are fast-tracked through our factory at order stage, so delivery schedules are realistic. Types of modularity vary from “single-bar” [see page 65] deploying one linear lamp within the profile itself, to two profile outer frames forming an inner lamp section. Two profile outer frame modules are shown on the page opposite, all with louvre lamella blade controllers, advanced prismatic controllers or opal diffusers. These units may all be connected & ‘run’ in continuous shaped arrays with outer profile returns, junctions and angled corners to create a suspended frame concept in open loop array or closed loop. Mix spotlights, downlights and single-bar sections with double-bar sections, add twisting sections, design for 3 tiers, 4 tiers or more.  Change spacing, pitch and lamp outputs to create the system that meets the demand of the project.  Xicata 48 is a consultation product with tailored designs & quotations to suit.
